Winslow Highlands (Formerly known as Mountain Residence 4), was brand new for 2008 ski season and is classed as hotel/self catering complex. It is situated in the most popular Bulgarian ski resort of Bansko.

The main ski lift (Gondola), is only 70 metres (yes only 70 metres) from our complex, to the many pistes Bansko has to offer, including the newly installed black run, two new red runs and a further blue run on the slope down to our apartment, (almost).

This new complex offers a high standard of building work undertaken by Winslow Developments which includes 24 hour security, reception, (with English speaking staff), lobby bar, laundry area, SPA facilities, which include Roman Bath, Steam Bath, Sauna, Jacuzzi, large indoor swimming pool, massage room, (local fee applies), gym, children's playroom, underground parking spaces, ski equipment storage facility, landscaped gardens, and beautiful mountain views - what more could you ask for?

Our new two bedroom and two bathroom apartment is in an excellent location within a very short walking distance to the Gondola Station and across the road from the famous 5* Kempinski Hotel.

Take advantage of the apres ski that Bansko has to offer by taking a short stroll to the beautiful traditional town of Bansko, where you can enjoy the local bars and restaurants, selling both Bulgaria traditional foods and a variety of other European dishes as well as English food.

There will be no need to queue after a busy day on the slopes as you will, depending on your stamina at the end of the day, virtually be able to ski right down to our apartment! Once inside you can take advantage of the Spa facilities the complex has to offer, which will ease away those aches and pains. Children can relax in the kiddies playroom equipped with various toys, games TV and videos.

After a relaxing session in the spa centre, you can then make your way upstairs to our apartment and enjoy a glass of wine in the cosy surroundings of our large lounge/dinning room with the cosy log burning fire.

Fully furnished to a very high standard, our apartment is suitable for couples and families alike. Cosy bedding including soft white towels and hairdryer are provided for your use. You will not even have to bring your own swimming towels as these are provided in the Spa area, just bring along your bathers. The apartment will be cleaned before arrival and after your departure, and should you require maid service during your stay, this can be provided at a small extra cost. Additionally, a welcome pack can also be ordered at an additional cost. Please let me know if this is something you require.

Bedrooms

Two bedrooms, one with double bed and one with twin beds. All bed linen is provided for your personal use. Access to balcony from main bedroom. Twin bedroom has double wardrobe and beside cabinets, so plenty of storage.

Bathrooms

Two bathrooms, one ensuite off main bedroom, and has own seperate full size bath and seperate shower cubicle, the other bathroom is off the hallway. Both have towel rails, cabinets with lights and shelving over the sink. Marks & Spencer towels are provided for your personal use.

Kitchen

Probably one of a very few apartments that has it's own seperate kitchen, most apartments are open plan. All modern facilities including a full size cooker, not just a hob, extractor fan, microwave, toaster and kettle. Fridge with small freezer compartment. Full range of kitchen utensils. Included is also the cutlery, crockery and glasses, as well as saucepans and baking trays. Plenty of storage space.

Living Rooms

Spacious lounge with cosy log burning fire. Logs can be purchased locally for a small charge. The lounge has a corner sofa unit that folds down to a double bed. Also included a coffee table and TV cabinet with TV, DVD player, and a selection of family films, Playstation 2 with a selection of games and a selection of traditional games. Access to balcony from lounge area. We have attempted to make the apartment as homely as possible with pictures, mirrors and cushions throughout.

Dining Areas

Six seater dining table and chairs, placemats, and blanket box with additional bed linen if necessary. There is also a basket to store the logs for the open fire.

Outside

Double balcony with table and two chairs, with stunning views overlooking the Pirin Mountains. The balcony also has a double, full length wall to wall attached washing line, for visits during the summer months.

Other Accommodation

Kiddies play room is located within the complex and next to the spa centre. There is also an outside kiddies play area, with landscaped gardens laid to lawn. In the basement, we have a a ski locker, which can be used to store skis and boots without having to take them up to the apartment. A welcome pack can be provided at an extra cost as well as a daily maid service. A charge for both these services will be made and should you require these, then please enquire.
