Downtown Apartments are the aparthotel section of the Downtown Ski and Spa Resort which is located on the banks of the river to the south west of Bansko town. This large development consists of 248 apartments in addition to the 5 star hotel which are arranged over 6 floors in 15 apartment buildings. The aspect of the buildings has been designed to maximise the position of the development to give the best possible views of the mountains and ski runs. Those apartments with views over the river to the east have excellent views of the mountains and gondola lift. At the time of writing (April 2009) the hotel section, which will contain the leisure facilities was not finished. This is expected to be completed later this year in time for the 2009 / 2010 winter season.
